When you are running out of ideas or funds to keep the kids busy, don't forget about all the local museums and theaters! Here is a list of local family museums and theaters. Be sure to check with your local library ahead of time to request a FREE day pass. Some libraries require you to return the laminated pass by the end of the day others provide you with tickets that will be taken at the place of entry. Also note that some libraries ask for proof of residency and while priority goes to those living in that town, oftentimes they have extras and are flexible.
