For the past 50 years, PCCD has provided specialized educational, therapeutic and support programming to help each child reach their full potential.  Our core programs include:  The Anderson School at PCCD is an approved private special education school, providing academic instruction and therapeutic services to students age 3-12 with medical complexities and/or multiple disabilities.  Early Intervention at PCCD is an integrated developmental service, offering evaluation and therapeutic services to children aged birth to 3 years, who exhibit developmental delays or who are at risk for delays due to biological, medical or environmental factors. PCCD is home of the Northeast Regional Consultation Program (RCP) which serves children with special healthcare challenges and their families who are enrolled in Early Intervention. Services provided by RCP are resources and referrals, assistive technology lending library, parent networking events, family fun events, trainings and respite funds. PCCD's Playgroups are for children aged 24 - 36 months and focused on play and positive social interactions, offer small class sizes and are integrated groups (with children from the community and our Early Intervention Program) to allow children to gain a greater acceptance for one another’s abilities.  The Woodbridge School is an early childhood program (for infants, toddlers and preschoolers) that offers a safe, fun, and creative environment for children to learn through play and gives each child the attention and strategies they need to learn, succeed and thrive.

Business Review

-Avery's teachers and classroom assistants gave us people to lean on that genuinely made us feel they understood what we were struggling with and lent us a and when all we could feel was that we didn't want to let him out of our sight." -Steve and Kristin

-I want to express how much this center means to this community. As a mother (of a child that used your services) and service provider, I constantly hear stories of the great impact early intervention has on the lives of our children. How Developmental Specialists from your agency, literally set the initial course for these children to have better access and a greater chance in society.  Darleni Vlaun, M. Ed, LMHC

-I am a North Andover Mom of 2 kids who have both received EI services from PCCD over the last several years.  As our daughter approaches age 3 and we are nearing the end of our time with Early Intervention services, my husband and I want to thank PCCD for the years of services for our children.  Our family will always hold "Miss Beth" dearly in our hearts, and though she seems truly singular, we can only hope that there are and will continue to be many others like her serving our community through PCCD in the years to come.
