Middlesex Community College, through the division of Community Education and Training, offers a variety of pre-college activities and educational programs for youth. Exceptional programs are delivered and developed to empower and guide youth as they reach personal goals and achieve academic and professional success. Vacation Week, after school and summer programs are offered at the Bedford and Lowell campuses.
College for Kids (CFK) provides children with an exciting range of unique opportunities to explore careers, gain new knowledge, develop new skills and boost their self-confidence. Our College for Kids program strives to employ either public school teachers or experts in the field. All program employees have experience instructing children in the content area. Programs are offered on the Bedford and Lowell campuses, as well as a theater program at the Merrimack Repertory Theater in Lowell. Please note the recommended ages of each program carefully when registering your child as they range between 8 - 17. Unless otherwise stated the cost for each program includes materials/activities.
We have full day and half day programs that vary in times. Full day programs run Monday-Thursday from 8:30am-4:30pm and 9am-4pm. Half day programs run Monday-Thursday from 8:30am-12pm and 1pm-4pm. If you choose two half day programs to make a full day, your child can stay on campus for lunch in between the two sessions. Please note: the MCC Theatre programs are Monday-Friday.
Business Review
"As a parent, I am excited to see [my daughter] has wanted to participate in yet another year of your theater camp! In her many years of taking part in this MCC program--you and your staff have instilled so much confidence, self esteem, friendships, and such great life skills in these children that we will forever be thankful for!"
