The annual Ice Fishing Derby hosted by the Haverhill Hound, Rod & Gun Club is
scheduled for Saturday February 8, 2025. The public is invited to join in the fun of walking on
hard water, drilling a hole and setting a fishing line in Chadwick Pond. For those 15 and older
there is a $15 entry fee, while kids 14 and under can fish for free with a paid adult entry. Cash
prizes will be awarded for the top three heaviest fish. For a tie in official weigh ins, the time of
the weigh in will be the tie breaker. Additional prizes will be awarded for the three heaviest
kid's fish.
