Zoo New England has a wonderful like up during the month of April! With the Spring Fling, April School Vacation week and Party for the Planet, there will be something for everybody.
Spring Fling, Stone Zoo, April 8th: Celebrate Spring at Stone Zoo’s Spring Fling! Welcome the warmer weather and learn about all the flora and fauna “springing” back to life. Enjoy music, dancing and games throughout the day, including keeper chats and horticulture tours. Watch as the animals join in on the fun with special enrichment. - April School Vacation, Stone Zoo & Franklin Park Zoo, April 17th – 21st: Have a wild adventure over April vacation week at Stone Zoo and Franklin Park Zoo! Take advantage of warmer weather and learn about the insects and animals that help springtime flowers bloom: pollinators! Scheduled keeper chats throughout the week allow guests to learn more about the residents that call the Zoo home and ask questions directly to the animals’ care team. - Party for the Planet, Franklin Park Zoo, April 22nd: Don’t miss the annual Earth Day celebration at Franklin Park Zoo! Visit the Zoo for a fun and engaging day connecting with nature and learn about important conservation work underway right here in eastern Massachusetts and across the globe. Talk to local environmental organizations and non-profits and learn how you can contribute to a healthy ecosystem and preserve our planet.
