New Years Eve Events, Activities & Things to Do

We've pulled together some New Years Eve and New Years Day events plus listed all kinds of ideas for celebrating at home, from a balloon countdown to New Years crafts.  Enjoy sparkling cider and champagne and some yummy treats, play games, and share hugs and wishes for a brighter and healthier 2023.


NEW YEAR'S EVE FAMILY ACTIVITIES ~ Local and Regional

Wamesit Lanes, Tewksbury:  Book a lane package for 6 people for 2-3 hours on New Years Eve, day or evening

Drive-through light displays:  Various locations through January 2

First Night Andover: Performers and activities from 3 PM to 10 PM, including magic shows, horse-drawn wagon rides, live music, fireworks at 7:30 PM, dance, marionettes, juggling and much more

First Night Boston: Acts and performers at various Boston locations, fireworks at 7 PM

Nashoba Valley Ski Area and Tubing Park, Westford:  Skiing and tubing on New Year's Eve 

Vinkari Safari Indoor Playground for Age 0-7, Woburn: Open 9-4 New Years Eve

Cowabungas Indoor Inflatable Park for Age 1-12, North Reading: New Years Eve Party 10-4

Launch Trampoline Park, Methuen: Open New Years Eve 10-6 (wear school swag -- sweatshirt, hat -- to get $5 off admission)

Fun City Trampoline Park, Salem NH: Open 10 AM-11 PM

The Children's Piazza, Peabody: Open 8:30 AM-1 PM

Ski Bradford, Haverhill:  Open hours on New Years Eve to be announced
