Christmas Stroll!

While you are out strolling don't forget to stop by and visit Merrimack Valley Macaroni Kid! Join us for a FREE holiday craft and an awesome giveaway! You can find us on the bottom floor of the landmark building (76 Merrimack street) with Wild Wonders and  Ocasio's True Martial Arts who will be hosting a story time with the cat in the hat. 

Haverhill, MA - The Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce Downtown Haverhill Committee announces the 25th Annual Christmas Stroll this year powered by Covanta, to be held on Saturday, December 2nd, from 2:00-6:00 pm in downtown Haverhill. 

This year the Christmas stroll will celebrate with a fun "Grinchmas" theme. It will be a huge 

Who-labration you won't want to miss. For the first time, the event will extend down Merrimack Street, providing additional shopping, dining and family fun activities. Included will be classic holiday favorites like photos with Santa, sponsored by Pentucket Bank, as well as Letters to Santa, and new this year a 17-foot tall ice castle bouncy house! Other activities included in this fun packed holiday event are touch a truck stations, a visit from Wild Wonders, cookie decorating, ornament making, crafts and more! Families also won't want to miss the opportunity to take a ride on the Haverhill Bank Express Train or visit Santa’s Workshop to meet Santa and some of his elves.

The highlight of the evening will be the official tree lighting with Santa in Washington Square…and the Grinch may even make an appearance too. You will also find a pop-up shop for this years Christmas Stroll! In addition to the great shops downtown, you will find unique vendors such as clothing and accessories, jewelry, engraved items, hand painted wood crafts, custom signs and much more! All activities take place in downtown Haverhill. Merrimack Street will be closed off to traffic, while additional shopping, dining, and family friendly activities take place on Washington, Wingate, Emerson and Essex Streets.

This event is being brought to you by the Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce in coordination with the Downtown Haverhill Business community and Covanta Energy.
