Here are a few fall nature activities and crafts you can do this week!
You can start these activities by going out for a nature walk. Get some fresh air in your own backyard, down the street or go for a hike. Encourage the children to use their senses to explore all nature has to offer! There are so many opportunities for sensory exploration!. Together you can identify textures, colors, and smells. While exploring outdoors you can incorporate math, science, imaginative play and even bring home items for art projects! All of the activities listed can be done at any age with supervision for younger ones- You can even place leaves on the floor for infants to have some sensory tummy time! *Remember it’s about the process not the product. For older children their own creativity will enhance the projects!
